Go to rite-aid & they are really cheap if you are looking to save some money.I went to Kinkos & the lady said it would cost around $65 for me & my wife ( 8 copies each ) , Now she herself suggested that I should save some money & try some other place like CVS, or Rite-Aid

Regardless of whether everyone gets their Green Cards or not, the numbers should definitely see a substantial jump.
we are entering into the last quarter, where according to the new rules, everything that has not been allocated will be opened up for retrogressed categories for that FY.
Which actually explained why they pushed EB2 so far back, so that they can bring it forward in the last quarter, i.e. the July bulletin.
On the whole issue of EB retrogression, This current batch of EB based green cards have waited the longest number of years in the history of green cards.
So, sooner or later, someone in the goverment will have to answer why is that they let so many people apply green cards when they did not have a numbers solution ready.
Why were we even allowed to file for Green Cards when they could only issue a certain number based on the Country of Birth, each year.
This is like sell a product to someone, send him an invoice, and he comes back and says, sorry, we have a country wise quota, so even if we bought these goods from you, we wont pay you cos the quota for this year is up.
No, literally, export quotas work that way, they put a quota on sourcing, not on payments.
Why not do the same on Green Cards?
So, this whole mess, what is the right amount of time (in years), that it starts turning into a 'rights' issue from a 'flawed process' issue.
Currently, unless we have some representative in the government, who sees this flaw as a real issue, it is only us non-immigrants who can push this harder, and generate that representative, who instead of sliding this issue along with some big Financial bill, lobbies hard to get this issue resolved, as a separate entity..

I guess everything needs to go through the house conference. However there is a much better chance to attach it to the PACE act since Sensenbrenner may not be sitting in that conference at all. PACE act goes to this committe:
Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Subcommittee on Education and Early Childhood Development
It's none of the Judical committe's business. It will be much better if the Senate just drops the contraversial immigration bill and start to work on this bill. Attaching EB to immigration bill is really dangerous and may just futher delay everything. So pushing the immigration bill may not be a wise thing for us to do.

I am in the same boat. Filed I-485 with an EB2 approved I-140 P.D June 2004. DBEC approved my EB3 LC with PD 2001.
This is what I know can be done:
1. File I-140 and I-485 for the older LC. USCIS may later ask you to withdraw
one case.
2. File for a new I-140 for the older LC, wait for it to be approved and then
file for substitution of I-140. Then the EB2 will get the older PD. This is the
I-140 porting process that my attorney explained to me.
3. File for I-140 and after approval file for CP.
I have opted for the last option. My attorney has filed for my EB3 I-140 and asked for CP. Since I-140 approvals are taking so long and with no PP I do not expect anything for a year more atleast. Again, you have an option to port the I-140 to EB2 if you do not want to go through the CP route after the older PD I-140 is approved.

I have hired as an "Auditor" in 2002, which is also the title of my position in my LC. If I use AC21 for AUdit manager, which is considered to be in the same occupational classification, will it be a problem? My salary will probably be double of what is on the LC application.... your thoughts are appreciated..
I heard that a major change in salary with regards to AC21 can be a problem..and the the title "manager" will always excite IOs ...for RFEs...
Did you check the job code for Auditor vs. Audit Manager ? 2x salary differential could be a problem.

Thanks everyone for the input. Does anyone know if they issue the renewed EAD starting at the end of the current EAD or does the renewed EAD start on the day the case gets updated? If the answer is latter then I don't want to bother pushing the lawyer (not that they care anyways ;-)
my lawyer said that if anyone uses EAD to work or planning to use EAD soon (not H1B) then it is better to apply for EAD renewal before 6 months of current one expires. If you are in H1B not planning to use EAD even in future then you can renew it 3-4 months before expiry.

If you were born in the USA, there is no way to reject US Citizenship. Even after you take up Indian passport and citizenship, you can come anytime to the USA flash your birth certificate and then get a US Passport.
Did you mean , "you can't loose the citizenship for ever , and get it back if you want to" ? One can renounce the citizenship (of USA) if they wish to.

Thanks for your reply guys.! Looks like the bottom line you guys state is that - does not matter if the H1B is not withdrawn before Oct. 1st 2007 by the contracting company. It should not be a big deal to me when and how they withdraw this right.?
All that i may need from the employer is the letter they write to USCIS stating to cancel this petition. Do i have to keep a copy of the fedex receipt that they may use to send this out to USCIS. Just evidence that USCIS recd. this package.! Since USCIS will not send anything back that they actually withdrew this petiton what kind of proof / evidence do i need to keep with me for furture reference.?
Does this hanging I-129 petition affect the 485 / EAD that we have filed.?

I applied for my labor in July and my PD is July 2007. If I get approved before August 17 then will I be able to apply for I140/485 before August 17th.
Yes, but you'll need hard copy of your labour certificate which takes 1-3 weeks to arrive. I suggest keep ALL other documents 100% ready to go and send the application the moment your LC arrives. If it does not arrive by 16th, include whatever proof you have of the LC approval (email nitification etc..) and send your application. you never know they may accept it and issue an RFE later..

I believe that April 3, 2002 is your denial notice is the starting point then. Till that point you were legally employed based on the belief that your application will be approved. Again this is just the common sense readout based on what you copied in�
So,if you are less than 180 days here without employment authorization you might have a chance � would be nice to know:
-Why your case was denied at that time (L1B extension???) This usually never happens�
And/or
-What the basis of the straight denial right now? You might want to contact USCIS over the phone (to gain few days) or do you have the letter already?
Anyway ether cases I would contact the USCIS Ombudsman about the straight denial � they should not do it � they usually issue that Notice of Intent first. Search around the threads here - I�ve seen some cases where the applicant received an immediate denial and somehow they were able to push it back to the �let�s talk about it� mode� - which does not mean that you are safe, but it will buy you some time for you.
So your research might be right about the 240 day thing which could put this into a different level.
I cannot recommend any lawyer � I use my company�s one and that office does not take individual cases I believe
