Assuming original poster from India, definition of Full Time Employment is 48 hours of work per week in private sector and 44 hours of work in most public sector. Many people make mistake on this ( Completely forgetting how they slogged...:)). 5 years back one of my friend got an RFE on this... Lawyer, through his internal sources came to know that INS had problem with the note regarding 40 hours of week as they knew in India, generally Public sector remained open for 44 hours. My friend was public sector employee in India.

This might be a cliche..
Neither GC nor the Career meet our ultimate end goals
If you boil it all down, this craziness is driven by three things
1) Hunger for money
2) Hunger for Achievement/Recognition
3) Hunger for materialistic pleasures.
When you are 65+ years old, I bet none of us would be thinking about GC, Citizenship or for that matter how good the infrastructure in this country is. However I bet we will all be thinking about two things
1) Financial Freedom/Retirement
2) A closer and more fulfilling relationship with near & dear ones.
From what I can remember, I have always wanted to come to the US, enjoy the luxuries of life and escape India. 12 years into this country, none of that joy or excitement remains. What has taken over is planning for an early retirement and peace of mind. To put things in perspective, I am neither approaching retirement nor approaching mid life crisis (I think), I am just 35 years old.
My goal now is to make my money without sacrificing too much in life, plan out my future and make my way to the beeline. Hopefully the conversion rates wont disappoint us, and I can disappear into the Indian sunset.
Again, ramblings from a tortured soul.

It is not a joke.
It happens to one guy last week.
My friend knows it for SURE.
He is working for a software company and that was the first time he traveled to US on a H1B visa.
As soon as he landed in JFK, the immigration officers (4 of them) went to him and gave him "Green Card".
No PERM :rolleyes:, No I-140 :rolleyes: and No-I-485 :rolleyes:.
How is that?
PS: On the same day they ordered "Expedited Removal and 50 Years Bar" and sent him back. He left US happy with his "Green Card".

Has anyone tried using the multiple mask technique to expand dept of field rather than (or in addition to) dynamic range? Might have to soften the edge of the mask but in principle it should work, using one photo set to near focus and the other to infinity. Obvioiusly a tripod would be essential. For non-manual focus lenses one could toggle the infinity focus on/off.
