The online status of my EAD application indicated that EAD card was ordered and then approved back on October 01, 2007. I have still not received card in my mail. Anyone in same situation?

My point is how can employer deduct tax with is not shown on pay slip.
What would be take home for 100k base? He should deposit $8333/pm not $5835/pm then pay roll processing department will deduct appropriate amount not he deducts 33% then sends to pay roll.

as far as i know CSC sending the transfer notices after issuing the receipts. Did u check with ur lawyer for receipts? .

I am planning to visit Mexico (not for H1 stamping - plan to use AP), I had called up their consulate in Philly and was told that they are not issuing visas at that location until Jan first week. The person I spoke to suggested that I go to the consulate in New York. I tried calling the consulate in NY, however, I could not get to speak with anyone there. They had an automated message that lists the things required for the stamping, the visa fee ($36), etc.,
However, no info if I have to schedule an appointment, how long they require to process the application.
Does anyone here have an experience with the Mexican tourist visa stamping?

I think when you renew the H1B with the same employer. You are back to H1B status from Parolee status. SO I guess you can do a H1B extension with a different company later...just my thoughts

If I renew my H1B can I avoid visa stamping by using the AP travel document.
I still intend to use my H1B as long as I stay with my current employer, but If I want to change employers or take a different job EAD would be the way to go, in that case would my H1B be invalidated?
I am concerned if I use EAD for a future job and 485 gets into trouble can I fall back to my H1B easily?

USCIS will have no way of knowing whether someone is collecting Unemployment benefits. At the time of I-485 approval, they may need your EVL to prove your employment if you have used AC21. As long as you can provide that letter, you should be safe whether you collect Unemployment benefit or not.

Just for updating everyone, I got my stamping done successfully at Tijuana. They give the passport next day as expected, so just make sure to make the arrangement for the night. It's pretty cool for H-1B people both for full-time plus contractors, albeit for contractors they sometimes will call/e-mail your employer to verify. It will usually happen in a day or two and they'll issue the visa then. Let me know if anyone wants any particular details on Tijuana/H-1B stamping there.

I am trying to change my I140 regular to I140 premium by completing the I-907 form, so that it can be sent before July 2nd deadline. However, my employer is not willing to proceed as he has recently received an RFE on I140 for one of other employee; he is working on the necessary documentation for that RFE, At this juncture, he says that escalating my I140 would jeopardice the situation.
Still, I am still not convinced; I want him to push it. Will there be any issues for the organization or for me. Any response would be greatly appreciated.
