Err... perhaps you could be a bit more clear. If you actually have two connections to the internet, both of them connect to the internet...

I was actually considering Pixeljunk Eden. It seemed pretty fun though I don't know if I can deal with a brutal difficulty level. :(
Well, I wouldn't say it is brutal to the point of being unplayable. The point of the game is to collect these things called "Spectra" in each level. You do this by getting your character to climb higher and explore more of the levels. But you have a limited time to do this. That is where the difficulty comes in. The mechanic of the game is very easy to grasp and pretty easy to master. It is the time limit that gives me the most problems.
It is a very fun game though. I didn't mean to give the wrong impression. The game, as with all of the PixelJunk games, is very fun and has a very unique graphical look and great soundtrack. Easily worth a purchase from the PSN.

Hate to break it to you crenz, but Panther won't run on beige G3s.
I'm in the same boat with my 400 MHz minitower. The choice is either stick with Jaguar (decent enough) or upgrade EVERYTHING!
Who knows? Maybe there will be a beige-box hack out there come January...

The iMac is a better buy if you are intending to replace your keyboard and considering upgrading your monitor. The mini is good if you are happy with your current peripherals and don't need a lot of power.
I'd expect the mini to move towards the i5 and i7 processors in the next month or two. It would be best to wait until this Summer for the next OS upgrade to come out (10.7 aka Lion) otherwise you'll be looking at an OS upgrade cost to you in the future.

I am very surprised that your parents policy does not cover yours- if you are family and living there it should, but again every policy is different. So you might see if it is cheaper to just add your stuff to their policy if their company allows it.

I can agree with the OP. The other day at BestBuy they didn't have 4gb in stock but I managed to find one. Thinking I was the man by finding the last and hidden 4gb only to get to the register to have it rung up at $240. Turns out it was one of those bundles that came with three lego games. :(

Did you try googling the obvious: palindrome python program
One of the top 10 hits is this:

For sammysam52, the OP in that thread posted code and solved their own problem with a gentle nudge.
What is your approach?

True.
An 8MP cam with with a better lens will destroy it.
Cameraphones will always be a bit gimped purely because of their size and multifunction nature.
Very soon it will make no difference as these cameraphones will supersede single-function point-and-shoot cameras in sales. In due course it won't be worth it to manufacture them unless they're higher-end. And by point-and-shoot I mean a Canon Powershot SD1000, for example.
Device convergence. Cameraphones have been catching up very nicely as of late. I can do so me pretty astounding things with my iPhone 4 camera plus photo software. The only real issue yet to be sorted out is zoom.

Agreed. They're only shred of credibility comes from that pic, I don't think any of their other predictions have come true either. :)

Wow that's amazing. How much did it cost roughly and how long did it take you to collect so many?

For the people planning on showing up at 2 am or 5 am or any time before 7 pretty much... is it because you don't have a reservations, or because you need to get your phone before work at 9? Or is it for any other reason? Do you not believe it will be possible to get a phone if you show up at say 7 or 8 am?
If I have a reservation and I show up at 8 am, do you think there will be a phone for me? Personally showing up at 8 am and waiting 3 hours would be much more pleasant than showing up at 4 am and waiting 3 hours and getting the first phone at 7.
Is it just because people need to have their phone at 7 am that they camp out, or because they are worried they will not otherwise get one?
Partly because I never got to reserve one. Also because I do wNt the newest thing. I've been out here for36 hours...

Do you use software for longer?
Are you using different software?
How often is often?
Are there any repeat offenders?
Are you doing different things now?
Your description is incredibly vague.
If applications are crashing, that may or may not have anything to do with Snow Leopard.
Nope

Couple times a week
Steam, iTunes, and the iWork apps come to mind

If you loose your phone, you'll have to buy a new phone. And it will cost you close to retail price if you are still on a contract.

Tony Abbott's notions on constitutional monarchy:
There are some people who believe that any republic would be better than what we have now.
Republic or bust zealots are incapable of perceiving any difficulties. Conservatives, however, dont change anything lightly.
Conservatives approach issues with instinctive respect for institutions and approaches that have stood the test of time.
If it is not necessary to change the conservative ethos runs, it is necessary not to change.
If it aint broke, dont fix it say conservatives, and if it is broke, recycle it, dont throw it away.
LOL on several levels.

I was in a similar situation several months ago. Difference being I had to replace my Tibook as it got a bit dinged up as I defended myself withit in a mugging attempt. While the mugger got away with a beating my powerbook sadly died while saving me and my ipod. Left with no computer and short on funds, I picked up a mac mini. Since I do video editing as well as 3d work with blender several people repeatedly told me that it wouldn't be enough for what I was asking from it. Well I have to report that while certain tasks do take longer, it still has done everything I have asked of it. It wasn't too long ago that we were running these tasks on much slower g4's and g3's. So the question you ask yourself isn't will I abe able to do xxx with a mini, the answer is yes. Rather the question should be in this case, will the mini be able to do it at least as well as the kit I am replacing. At least that is how I look at things. Sure A dual g5 will be better suited for what I want to do, but if I had the dosh for it I would have bought it and not had a question about it being able to replace my g3.
