If I understand you correctly, let me explain. Your iPod is a portable device. You can put whatever you want on to it. However, you're not meant to use it as a transfer-device, or get things off of it. It syncs to one iTunes Library at a time, and you can only sync to the iPod, not from the iPod. Well, since you've neglected to tell us about anything else you own other than the fact you have an iPod, I can't help you any further. Either you can rip all of your CDs to iTunes, and start fresh by re-syncing it, or you can pull music off of that iPod using the guide I provided.

Try resetting the PRAM

On a side note. You should never install a developer preview as your primary OS.

Why would you jailbreak if you're having problems such as this? It will only make it worse.
I jailbroke it because now I can add cydia apps that bypass some shortcomings of the native iPad (password protecting specific apps, mail enhancements, widgets, etc)
Also, your post does not state that you had this problem before jail breaking. Unless it is on another thread...
In my second post on this thread, I stated that I just reset the iPad and still have the same problem.

I thought you could JB the iPhone and then use an app called MiFi (or somethinlg) and create a hot spot that the iPad (1st or 2nd Gen) could use.
I am losing my work provided cellphone and i was thinking about an iPhone for doing just that.
Correct, pay a one time fee of $20 or $25 for My-Wi on demand. My-Wi on demand automatically creates a wifi hotspot when necessary so you don't have to constantly have to switch on and off. By far one of the best reasons to jailbreak an iDevice.

I sent my 15" PB to service because of the horizontal lines issue. They replaced the LCD screen, and yes, the lines are still there, but fainter. Now it seems though as my Airport won't work. What could be wrong?
Without knowing more about your situation, I would suggest that you re-setup your airport from your PB15 using the utility.
Of course you will need to know the original settings for your ISP before you try this.

We need to know the URL that the ad links to. You don't have to click it, just control-click or right-click to get the address. That's how we track them down.

I looked thru that apple listing of keystrokes, but I couldn't find one to restore windows (or I overlooked it). That is, if a window of an app is minimized onto the dock and you select the app by apple+tab, is there a keystroke to restore the window so I don't have to use the mouse to find it on the dock and click on it?
